study smart to crack entrance exam

First, dream and give a frame to your objective and then plan according to your objectives.

Some students may have a passion to do engineering studies only in the premier institutions. In such cases, go through the rules and procedures of the institutions and first, know about the minimum cut-off marks required to enter into those institutions and plan your preparation strategies accordingly!

Three major concepts are inevitable and hence, balancing a good stability among them would yield the goal; they are: time, speed and idea! All the three bears the same weightage, hence practice these concepts, while preparing for your exams. Some of the important tips to accomplish the entrance exams are listed as follows :

1) Try to relate the important formulas to the real life situations, or via favorable situations. This would remain as an easy way of recalling the formulas; especially at the exam time.

2) It would be appropriate to speed up your calculation methodologies; to enable this, do mental calculations always. This could save time, which would otherwise be wasted in flipping the additional sheets for calculation; one could save 20% of time on this.

3) Calculate the risks involved in getting a question wrong; if, for every wrong answer, 1/4th of the total marks to the question is deducted, then do calculate the maximum number of questions that you could go wrong at the exam; this is very significant calculation, as it would create a caution regarding the impact of wrong answers!

4) Don’t get misled by assumptions; try all possible means of solutions to a specific problem. Practice such strategies, while preparing for the exam.

5) Take time to read the questions; don’t have stereotypes about the questions; there might be a twist, or not!

6) List the different categories of questions, like conventional type questions; formula type questions; practical type questions; theoretical type questions; reasoning type questions, etc. and find out your strong and weak areas out of the categories and allocate time appropriately!

How To Prepare For IIT-JEE And AIEEE

First of all, whenever somebody has any ambition or aim to do something, he or she should be confident to do that thing, means never lose HOPE.

FOR IIT-JEE: For the preparation, you have to clear & enhance your CONCEPTS more and more.

For AIEEE, you have to learn SMALL TRICKS and MAGIC to solve the question in possible time.

For Maths (My favorite Subject), just use your brain as much as you can. Ultimately for preparation of any exam, remember some points :

1) Always start from BASICS because "without base, there will be no altitude" and "journey of a thousand miles begin with single step".

2) Always BUILD UP RIGHT & APPROPRIATE BASICS because "once the track of train is being changed, it will go on only that track". So always select the right track.

3) Never prefer solutions of questions before doing SELF-ATTEMPT at least five times till you get the right answer because "without fall you can not stand at once".

4) Your study schedule should be such that you will even easily get the time for a little enjoyment daily.

5) Also you will have to take appropriate sleep or rest of at least 6 hours a day if you are preparing for IIT-JEE otherwise your mind set-up for next day will not be in place.

6) There is one more thing, whenever you are studying just be CONCENTRATE on that thing so badly, so that you even don't know what is happening your nearby. Because studying 2 hours with DAMN GOOD CONCENTRATION is equals to studying 5-12 hours without any concentration.

How to increase efficiency in preparations :

Here are few tips :

1.But by imagining how you’ll use your new information, you tend to automatically focus on the things you really need to know.

2.In case of average achievers, master what you know and are comfortable with.

3.Repeat your learnt work so the recall in exam is easy. Work not repeated or revised is easily forgotten.

4.While you are answering one question, information about another may suddenly occur to you. Jot it down somewhere because when you come to that question perhaps an hour later, you may have forgotten it.
